The design supports stringent cleanroom requirements while aligning with Coloplast’s broader sustainability goals.
The cleanroom’s heating and cooling system is fully electric, featuring a water-source heat pump air handling unit connected to ground-source geothermal production wells. The process cooling water system incorporates water-cooled chillers that reject heat to the geothermal core loop, creating opportunities for heat recovery and improving overall energy efficiency.
