Greg Trende brings nearly three decades of industry experience to his role as president of MCE, based in Minneapolis. Over the past 18 months, he has been the driving force behind MCE’s commitment to the MEP 2040 Challenge, a rigorous industry initiative calling on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering firms to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. He organized and delivered the firm’s inaugural carbon impact report, making MCE among the first MEP engineering firms in the region to sign on. Trende also serves on MCE’s in-house sustainability committee, where he ensures that sustainable design is woven into daily practices.
