The Ziegler CAT Rebuild Center project transformed a 120,000 square foot industrial building into the 5th largest CAT rebuild center in the Northern Hemisphere. We were brought on board to complete the MEP design.

This facility includes office space, multiple bays designed to rebuild and service large engines, warehouse space, a large paint booth, a blast room, a steam room, transmission testing, and parts washing space.
This is a central hub that supports 30 Midwest facilities. The project includes nine 20-ton overhead bridge cranes and 71 jib cranes ranging from one to three tons; allowing them the ability to service small engines up to the largest locomotive engines which are delivered on the tracks that come through the building. This project was highly technical and the design process incorporated feedback from all user groups to create the most sought-after facility in the market.
