Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE) provided full MEP services for the Target Field Station; a state-of-the-art multi-modal transit station with mixed-used development and year-round activated public space. Common areas have been specially designed to support a variety of activities for transit and non-transit users alike, ensuring maximum use and comfort.

The common areas include two levels of public plazas and 286 below-grade parking spaces. The first public plaza is the Great Lawn which provides opportunities for pre-game events, community concerts and seasonal events. The second plaza is an amphitheater and informal seating area to form The Cascade which provides year-round entertainment and recreation opportunities.
The Target Field Station is a destination that connects more than 500 trains arriving and departing daily via the METRO Blue Line, METRO green line and Northstar Commuter Rail, in addition to accommodating more than 1,900 daily bus trips.
