SunOpta, a leader in the organic, natural and non-GMO food and beverage space, approached us to provide MEP design services for a new mixed-use corporate facility. The new facility, housing office, lab, pilot plant and interactive product testing and marketing spaces would allow SunOpta to seamlessly bring products from idea to tasting experience all under one roof.

Our extensive experience with MEP design for food-science spaces allowed us to bring value to the team early and often to help SunOpta achieve their goals for the facility. The overarching goal and challenge of the project was to create spaces that complement each other and create process synergy while focusing on the unique requirements of each space type.
At the end of the project, we were proud to have contributed to reliable and flexible pilot plant spaces, safe and efficient laboratories, a thoughtfully designed and highly usable test kitchen and an open, healthy office environment. We look forward to watching SunOpta’s growth over the coming years and we’re excited to be partners and customers in the future.
