An addition to the fairgrounds was The North End Event Center, which is a stunning brand-new centerpiece of the redeveloped north end of the fairgrounds. This event center houses a 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art exhibit hall that will be the fair-time home to annually changing museum-quality exhibits that fair guests can enjoy.

The North End Event Center is a stunning new addition to the Minnesota State Fair, which attracts more than two million visitors in less than two weeks. This $16 million building, for which our team provided mechanical and electrical engineering services, showcases a 12,000-square-foot exhibit hall that features museum-quality exhibits that change every year.
The North End Event Center blends in with the fair’s older structures with its shed-like roof and wooden elements, while also offering a modern and glassy appearance. The building is equipped with new HVAC systems that regulate humidity, air quality and temperature to protect the exhibit pieces and ensure the comfort of the attendees.
