Doug Cooley received two service awards from the State of Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). His first award was for eight years of service to the Minnesota Board. He was appointed to the Board in 2006 by Governor Pawlenty and served on the Credentialing, Executive and Rules Committees. Doug has been an instrumental Engineer member of the Engineering, Land Surveying and Geoscience section and was Chair of this section for one of his eight years of service. Having served NCEES at the national level, Doug has represented the field of Engineering on numerous NCEES committees and task forces. In 2013, he received the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Tom Roche Lifetime Achievement Award.
Doug also received a second award for his leadership as the Board Chair of the 21 member Minnesota State AELSLAGID Board.
