EL DORADO, CALIFORNIA
Red Hawk Casino is a 35 acre portion of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians’ Rancheria located east of Sacramento. One of the most important considerations for this project is the incorporation of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians’ culture.
While guests learn about the Miwok’s culture and history as represented in the design of the facility, they are also entertained within by a casino gaming environment that accommodates approximately 2,000 slot machines, 50 game tables, a buffet, restaurants, and a child care center. Conveniently, visitors are able to park in the on-site 2,800 stall parking garage.
Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE) provided full mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for the project which included full backup/redundant power systems to accommodate the 24 x 7 operation of the casino.
