Kerry Cooley Bruggemann
PE, LEED AP
Principal | Mechanical
Engineering Field Since 2006
Coming from a bloodline of engineers, her passion for problem solving and the technical sciences came at an early age, propelling her to enroll in Villanova University, which she is now a passionate alumni of. Upon graduation, Kerry joined Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE), a firm her grandfather co-founded in 1946.
Registered as a professional engineer, Kerry has managed the mechanical engineering for aviation, corporate, and retail building projects. Today many of Kerry’s responsibilities are in the aviation market, and include strategic and technical consulting services to the Metropolitan Airports Commission, the organization responsible for capital improvement projects at the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport.
“I love the everyday challenges of my job and working with some of the best clients, while building relationships and solving problems. I get great job satisfaction from walking into a space and seeing the systems we designed, installed and working well. It brings a great deal of pride to the work we do.
Engineering must be in my blood, I got into engineering by seeing the examples set forth by my Dad and my Grandfather. I’m proud to be a part of a family tradition and honored to be the third generation Cooley at MCE.”
