In August of 2001, Allianz, having just merged with Life USA, moved into their new corporate headquarters located in Golden Valley, MN. For this Allianz Life Headquarters Michaud Cooley Erickson provided all mechanical and electrical engineering for the facility.

Our engineers designed state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical systems for this 421,000 square foot insurance facility. MCE designed engineering for a 15,000 square foot data center, backed up with redundant power and cooling systems, multiple floor office space with raised floor for future flexibility, a 465,000 square foot parking ramp, a half floor mechanical penthouse, employee and guest cafeteria, generator farm and company gathering spaces.
