North Memorial

Over the years, Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE) has worked on many projects for North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, MN.  Recently, MCE has been involved with the Inpatient Expansion project, the Emergency Department Expansion and the Outpatient Center. The Inpatient expansion project added four levels of patient care space above the Atrium building. The Emergency Department Expansion expanded and remodeled the entire emergency department including the addition of two level 1 trauma rooms; this project was constructed in phases without interrupting emergency services to the public. The Outpatient Center project consisted of the remodel of an existing facility into a new outpatient care center including the Humphrey Cancer Center, North Memorial Outpatient Imaging Services, North Radiation Therapy Center and other departments. The project also included the relocation of the hospital’s data center to a new facility. MCE also continues to be involved with remodel projects throughout the facility.

The Medical Office Building (MOB) for North Memorial in Maple Grove, MN consists of a four (4) floor MOB adjoining the Ambulatory Care Center facility.  MCE’s work included dedicated electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

North Memorial’s Ambulatory Care Center in Maple Grove, MN is a two (2) level building with a partial lower level.  Services included in this facility are an urgent care center, imaging department with CT/MRI, Day Surgery center, six (6) operating rooms, and endoscopy suite.
