Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN consists of over 300,000 square feet of gaming area, a 147,000 square foot entertainment center consisting of a 2,100-seat showroom and a 13,000 square foot bingo parlor, four restaurants, a hotel and golf club house. The Little Six Casino is a stand-alone casino a short distance from the main casino. The Master Plan 2000 Project included a complete remodel of the gaming areas and back of house for the main casino, which includes relocating one restaurant, relocating the bakery and remodeling another restaurant. The design challenge was accommodating the construction for round the clock operations of the casino. The schedule was accelerated as well so that the newly remodeled areas were available to serve the guests as soon as possible. The entire mechanical ventilation system is being replaced to make the guest as comfortable as possible.
