Technology Systems

In our modern world of rapidly emerging technology, engineering solutions must be specialized to incorporate the most current products and design methods. The Special Systems Department at Michaud Cooley Erickson includes a full-time staff of five engineers and designers who are dedicated specifically to the planning and design of state-of-the-art technology systems.
Our experience spans hundreds of projects, encompassing all aspects of Security, Access Control, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Telephony and Data, Audio and Visual, Paging and Sound Reproduction, Master Clock, and Fire Alarm System design. Our staff credentials and certifications include Professional Engineering Licensure, LEED Accreditation, and NICET Certification. Additionally, we maintain active participation in numerous professional organizations such as the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), Building Industry Consulting Services, International (BICSI), and several others. We have developed training materials and seminars in our areas of expertise, and have authored educational materials for both informal presentation and formal publication.
The head of the Special Systems Department at MCE is a credited contributor author of the BICSI Electronic Safety and Security Design Reference Manual, which is currently in its Second Edition, and used as a resource for BICSI design professionals in nearly 90 countries.
