A communications package for an educational facility, for example, typically includes: an intercom into the classroom; sound reinforcement; data and video projection; audiovisual; and phones. In this environment a teacher can stand at a lectern, insert a video, cd or dvd into a drive, and send images to an overhead projector, a television monitor or a computer screen. Phones can also provide control for all classroom communications. A teacher can call a school’s media resource center, ask the staff member to load a video or laser disk into a drive, and at a specific time punch in a code to start a program.
